The opening date for Wetherspoons ‘largest investment’ in their history, Keavan’s Port, has been confirmed for Monday, August 16.
A total of 27.4 million has been invested in developing the site along with a further 6 million in purchasing the property.
There will be 200 full and part-time positions at Keavan’s Port which is located opposite The Bleeding Horse pub on Camden Street.
It won’t be lacking on the space front either with 9,000 square feet of customer space over two floors plus another 3,800 square foot garden across two enclosed courtyards.
The hotel will have 89 bedrooms available all with an en-suite bathrooms. There’s a choice of twin, double, and family rooms along with four specially designed rooms for guests with disabilities.

An introductory room booking price starts at 85 Sunday – Wednesday and 125 Thursday – Saturday, until September 26.
The pub will be open seven days a week from 7am – 11pm with food served from opening until 10:30 pm.
