Zac Efron embraces the Australian lifestyle in new outback photos

Zac Efron has called Australia home for almost a year now, and it looks like hes embracing the lifestyle wholeheartedly. The 33-year-old actor is halfway through filming his new movie Gold in South Australia, taking a quick break to go camping in the South Australian outback in a caravan.
The star has been staying in a $140,000 Lotus caravan, which appears to be thanks to a free sponsored deal.
Posting a few photos to his Instagram, the star embraced the Australian way by wearing an Akubra hat.

But it’s not any old caravan, with luxury features including a double bed, a leather lounge, pop-up TVs, cooktop and hot water.

It is unknown whether or not Efron has brought his Australian girlfriend Vanessa Valladares on his camping trip or not.
While she is a Byron Bay resident, she has been spotted on various occasions visiting the High School Musical star in Adelaide.
But gallivanting the outback isn’t the first quintessentially Australian thing Efron has done while living here.
The star was spotted getting a mullet haircut late last year.

Efron went to Atta Boy Hair in Adelaide to get his new haircut, and even decided to give the owner Robby Lippett a trim while he was there.
It doesn’t get any more Australian than that.
Efron has been living in South Australia while filming his upcoming movie Gold.
He will star alongside Anthony Hayes and award-winning actor Susie Porter, while Hayes will also direct the film, which is based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Polly Smyth.
Gold is a thriller about greed and the lengths people will go to secure themselves a fortune. It follows two drifters travelling through the outback who stumble across the biggest gold nugget ever found.
