Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof starred for Man Utd in their Europa League victory over AC Milan.

Luke Shaw interrupted Victor Lindelof’s post-match interview with club media as he shouted to the defender that he was Manchester United’s man of the match against AC Milan.
Lindelof was in the middle of answering a question from MUTV’s Stewart Gardner when Shaw hollered: “Man of the match, Lindelof!”
The Swede was briefly distracted before regaining his composure and completing the interview, in which he praised United’s match-winner Paul Pogba after the Frenchman emerged from the bench at half-time to score inside three minutes after almost six weeks out with a thigh injury.
Pogba’s clever strike was the only goal of the game in the San Siro as United secured a 2-1 aggregate victory that sends them into the Europa League quarter-finals.
Pogba only returned to training earlier this week but his immediate impact was a reminder of his qualities. His clever finish after a spell of pinball in the Milan box sealed victory and Lindelof was impressed he managed to find the angle for the shot.

I didnt see it but it looked tight, I was surprised he managed to get his shot off like that,” he told MUTV. “It shows his qualities, he was absolutely fantastic. Hes been gone for a while and only trained a couple of times and to perform like that is impressive.”
United have struggled for creativity in Pogba’s absence but his return from the bench was a major boost to United after a sloppy first half in Italy.
Shaw also spoke to the media and welcomed the return of Pogba.
“It always helps when you’ve got a world-class player like Paul to come on,” he told BT Sport. “He made the difference. It’s brilliant to have him back and, like I said, the most important thing was the result and getting through to the next round.”
