It’s been a strange year for boxing as the global pandemic brought the sport to a grounding halt back in March.
Despite the difficulties in putting on events, there have still been a number of stunning KOs over the past 12 months.
Anthony Joshua was back in action and delivered another knockout perfomance
Yes, the world of combat sports continued despite the various obstacles and boxing fans were treated to some scintillating displays.
For the first time in a long time, last year’s king Deontay Wilder is not in the conversation for Knockout of the Year.
Rival heavyweights such as Anthony Joshua and Alexander Povetkin have instead taken his place on the list given the hard-hitting American’s dismantling by Tyson Fury.
There is even a place for YouTuber Jake Paul, a controversial inclusion no doubt, but his flattening finish of Nate Robinson made headlines around the world and cannot be ignored.
The 23-year-old will be back in 2021 and, having failed to get a lucrative fight with Conor McGregor, is believed to be targeting former MMA fighter Ben Askren.
