Fortnite game is likely eyeing a big shift that has many benefits for players. Here are all the changes that may happen

Popular battle royale game Fortnite developers recently revealed their plan to shift the game to Unreal Engine 5. Fortnite will be moving to the next-gen gaming engine, and it had even entered the Early Access mode back in May, according to a report by RealSport101. A promininent leaker HYPEX on Twitter was the first to break the news. It was also revealed that the game’s reported shift to the new engine means that mapmakers should now learn how to use the engine early in case mod support is announced.
Currently, the game uses Unreal Engine 4, and since the developers Epic Games owns Unreal Engine 5 the move isnt at all outlandish. But the leaker did say that the major changes that may come as a result of this shift may not be felt in the main battle royale arena itself. It may be seen in the creative modes. Aside from these changes, the players and industry at large are expecting huge visual improvements to happen. Players may even get graphical upgrades such as improved lighting, details, and more frames per second, according to DualShockers.
