He said 32-year-old Neelofas televangelist husband, Muhammad Haris Muhammad Ismail, 26, will also be asked to come in after pictures and a video clip of the couple shopping at a carpet shop here went viral on social media.
We started our probe after the pictures and video clip of the couple, believed to be at a premises at the Nilai 3 Business Centre, went viral.
We hope they will do so soonest. Once we complete our probe, we will forward the findings to the deputy public prosecutors office, he said in a statement Monday (May 3).
The duo will be investigated under Section 21A of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988, Rule 19 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Regulations (conditional movement order) 2021, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

On April 27, Neelofa, whose real name is Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, was issued a compound for failing to practise physical distancing during her recent wedding ceremony and for breaching interstate travel regulations by taking part in activities not permitted by police.
She was fined RM20,000.
Her husband, commonly known as PU Riz, was issued a RM10,000 compound for breaching interstate travel regulations.
Twenty of the couples relatives were issued with a RM1,500 compound each totalling RM30,000 for failing to practise physical distancing during the wedding ceremony.
The couple was called in after pictures and videos of them spending time in Langkawi went viral.
A number of social media users expressed their dissatisfaction with the couple’s alleged actions.
Nafeez Gurung Khaursar took to Facebook to ask “How is she still able to move around?”
Allison Por Li Fang and Cyphuell Azm felt that if the allegations were true, strict action should be taken.
Over on Twitter, @AfeeqAkmal_ said: “If you still think Neelofa is an idol think again… Many others are upset they were unable to cross state borders to visit their parents but she could cross state lines to buy carpet.”
@nashee_boo echoed the sentiment and asked,”Is it truly nicer and cheaper there?”, adding that there were plenty of carpet stores within KL.
Meanwhile, @NikSyazne said he was disappointed by her alleged actions and asked: “What makes you so happy doing this, Neelofa?”
