PUTRAJAYA: Reunion dinners for Chinese New Year will only be allowed among family members living in the same house.
Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic) said this was part of the standard operating procedure for Chinese New Year celebrations drawn up by the National Security Council.

He said this included all activities related to the celebration, including reunion dinners and prayers.
He said house-to-house visits as well as cross-border travel are not allowed.
He also said prayers at temples are also not allowed, except for five of the temple’s committee members.
Ismail Sabri said for those celebrating Chinese New Year in Sarawak, the state government would make an announcement on the matter as parts of the state are under conditional MCO.
Chinese New Year falls on Feb 12 this year.
