PRETORIA – Acting Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshaveni and Higher Education Minister, Blade Nzimande are holding a post-cabinet briefing to unpack the NSFAS decision regarding policy and funding options for students at universities.
The briefing will also give details of Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting.

This week, Nzimande said funding applications could not be confirmed for new students that’s because of a shortfall in the National Student Financial Aid Scheme.
On Wednesday, there was chaotic protest action from Wits students who are fighting for financial inclusion in the institution.
One man was killed by police during the protests.
