This weekend has been recorded as the hottest days of the year

The Met Office has predicted the day the heatwave will end in Essex.
According to meteorologists at the Met Office, who are responsible for creating weather predictions and forecasts for the country, the temperatures recorded this weekend are the hottest days so far.
Yesterday (July 17) some parts of Essex saw temperatures soar to 26C. Today (July 18) some places will be scorching with temperatures rising to 31C.

According to The Met Office long-range forecast, the heatwave will burn out next Saturday (July 24) when sunny condition will turn into cloudy or light showers in most Essex areas.
Changes will see an area of showers and thunderstorms already affecting the southwest, is then likely to spread erratically northeast across the country over that weekend.
However, Essex will get to enjoy sunny weather during the weekday next week. Some areas, like Romford, Harlow, Saffron Walden, will experience some of the blistering weather temperatures.
Romford is expected to be one of the hottest places in Essex as it is predicted to be mainly 26 degrees next week.
But temperatures are presumed to rise tomorrow (July 19) to 29 degrees and Wednesday (July 21) to 28 degrees.
Harlow and Saffron Walden will be fluctuating between 26 and 27 degrees. However, temperatures in Harlow will drop slightly to 25 degrees.
Places like Chelmsford, Colchester, and Southend will be slightly cooler, but temperatures are predicted to fluctuate between 23 to 26 degrees throughout the week.
