“For Meghan to name Kate in a negative light is worse than being attacked himself,” royal expert and biographer, Penny Junor says.

Prince William is reportedly “very protective” of wife, Kate Middleton, following Meghan and Harry’s tell-all with Oprah Winfrey.
The interview saw Meghan Markle reveal she did not make Kate Middleton cry in the run-up to her wedding to Prince Harry, despite the headlines. “The reverse happened,” she told Oprah, but shared Kate had apologised, she’d since forgiven her, and she didn’t want anyone to attack the Duchess of Cambridge for it.
Now, royal expert and biographer, Penny Junor tells People: “William is very protective of Kate and can get very angry. For Meghan to name Kate in a negative light is worse than being attacked himself.”
Gayle King has since revealed Prince Harry has spoken to his brother since the bombshell interview, as well as dad, Prince Charles.
“The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive, but they are glad they have at least started a conversation,” the broadcast journalist, who is also close friends with the Sussexes, said.
