Spring will have well and truly sprung over the weekend as temperatures are set to creep up into the low teens.
It will also be time to dust of the shades as plenty of wall to wall sunshine is sure to bring out a few smiles.
A dry start to the weekend but there will be a mix of cloud and some isolated patchy and light showers but amounts will be small. High pressure is ensuring a lot of dry and calm weather.
A big change will swing around come night time, when temperatures are expected to plummet as low as 1C.
There will be fog, plus a risk of frost in areas due to the colder conditions.
A Met Éireann spokesperson said: The best of the sunshine will be in the northwest. Highest temperatures of 10C to 13C in light southerly or variable breezes.
Cool at night with a risk of frost and fog as winds ease. Saturday night will bring patchy cloud and clear spells with some showers.

On Sunday mist and fog patches may be slow to clear in the morning in the near calm conditions, but sunny spells will break through in most places by the afternoon. Dry with highs of 10C to 12C with light easterly breezes developing.

It looks that Monday will be more of the same with mist and fog clearing through the morning to leave another dry day with variable cloud and some sunshine. Highest temperatures again will vary from 8C to 11C in light or moderate easterly breezes.
