Jesse Lingard thrived on loan at West Ham United last season and he has dropped a strange hint on his future.

Jesse Lingard has hinted that he could return to West Ham United in a bizarre video with Sky Sports.
After falling out of favour at Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over the previous year, Lingard joined West Ham in January on loan for the rest of the season in a bid to get his career back on track.
Things went better than could possibly be expected as the forward thrived in London, scoring nine goals and laying on five assists in just 16 appearances which has seen him fight his way back into the England squad ahead of Euro 2020.
Lingard has returned to Old Trafford following the conclusion of the season but, despite his terrific form, his future remains up in the air, with only a year remaining on his contract at United.
Hammers supporters are certainly desperate to see the 28-year-old return to the London Stadium ahead of their Europa League campaign next season, though, and one fan made his feelings known in a video with Sky Sports.
Actor Tom Davis, known for his role in comedy show Plebs, asked Lingard to stay at West Ham through a series of placards in the video, while playing ‘Stay Another Day’ by East 17 on a speaker.
When Davis revealed cards which read: “With any luck by next year I’ll be watching you tear it up at the London Stadium, ideally for West Ham,” Lingard gave a knowing nod to the camera, at least hinting that he would be open for a return to the club.
Davis isn’t the only one who wants Lingard back at West Ham next season, as manager David Moyes made it clear he wants to keep the player following the final game of the season.
I hope Jesses here, wed like to keep him, hes done an exceptional job for us but theres no guarantees, hes not our player, Moyes said.
But I hope Jesse realises weve been good for him as well, and that he joined a club on the up.
