The BMW M2 Competition is one brutal tyke and even though we think it has the power it deserves, the folks at Manhart do not think so.
The tuning firm has given the BMW M2 a power boost as well as bodybuilding supplements. Dubbed the MH2 500 Limited, the tuned M2’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre S55 inline-six engine has been massaged to deliver 386 kW and 700 Nm of torque.
With those power outputs, the MH2 500 is powerful than the M4 Competition with 375 kW and 650 Nm.
All this was made possible via the installation of MHtronik control unit, four 100 mm-diametre 4-inch carbon tailpipes plus the brand’s rear silencer.
For better handling, Manhart has worked on the chassis with a lowering kit from H&R.
On the outside, the M2 is fitted with a carbon fibre front spoiler lip, a new rear diffuser plus a trunk lip spoiler.
It rides on a set of 20-inch Manhart Concave One light-alloy wheels finished in Gunmetal grey. The Manhart decals are also finished in the same hue.
The interior is bolstered with an AK Motion display that is situated in the driver-side central air vent.
Only 10 units of the M2 will be built by Manhart.
