Lydia Ko made a tidy start at the HSBC Womens World Championship in Singapore, but sits five shots off the lead at the end of the opening round.
The Kiwi golfer finished the day at three-under at Sentosa Golf Club, good enough to have her in a tie for 14th.
She began well on Thursday, with birdies on the second and third holes both par fours then added another on the par-five eighth so sit three-under at the turn.
A bogey on the par-four 12th set her back, but she recovered with a birdie on the par-five 13th to return to three-under, where she finished with a round of 69.

Seven others fared the same and are tucked behind a pack of six at four-under and a pack of five at five-under.
South Koreas Inbee Park leads the field at eight-under, after a round of 64, but has countrywomen Hee Young Park for close company at seven-under.
Ko missed the cut last weekend at the Los Angeles Open in California, having won a tournament for the first time in three years the week before, when she took out the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii.
She is set to start her second round at 12.25pm (NZ time) on Friday afternoon.
