A delivery rider was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car close to an Asda store.
The male motorbike rider was injured after a crash at about 5pm on Seaview Road, in Wallasey.
Paramedics and police raced to the scene as witnesses reported seeing a man being treated on the ground.
Road closures were put in place next to the nearby Asda, as officers worked at the scene to divert traffic.
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police today confirmed the rider suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash, and he was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car involved in the crash is also helping the force with enquiries.
Pictures taken on Seaview Road showed police officers inspecting a red motorbike with a Stuart delivery bag nearby.
