During the programme she went into detail about one harrowing instance.
She recalled a time that she had been travelling to New York by plane alongside her brother to visit their cousin in when she began to bleed.
By the time she reached New York, she was still unwell and when she visited her cousin in a high rise office building, she was forced to rush to the toilet.

It was there that she passed her baby in what she described as a horror story.
She said: “I remember in this high rise tower in New York holding my tiny, little, size of a fingernail, baby in my hands and I was looking at it and I was touching it,” she explained.
Unsure of what to do in in such a difficult situation, Joanna said that she had no other choice but to “flush it away”.
